Inscription.
This 23 acre pond & facility was constructed by the West Fulton Rod and Gun Club in cooperation with the New York State Environmental Conservation Department during the year 1996.

The pond is located on the site of a circa 1840 mill pond which provided water to power a grist mill which was located a short distance down stream from the present dike. the stones which support this structure were removed from the original mill dam and placed here by club members to honor the families who first settled Rossman Hill in the early 1800's.

This pond facility is offered to all who enjoy the outdoors.
