1. Triton Botanical Gardens Marker
Inscription. Triton Botanical Gardens, opened in October 1982, were made possible through the office of George Dunne, President, Cook County Board. Land for the gardens has been made available by the Cook County Forest Preserve District and improvements on the land were accomplished through a grant by the Cook County Office of Manpower.
