Nació en Anenecuilco, Morelos. Fue Jefe Supremo del Movimiento Revolucionario del Sur. Defendió sus ideales de "tierra y libertad" durante la Revolución Mexicana, por lo que es considerado"El Apóstol del Movimiento Agrario de 1910"

Born in Anenecullco, Morelos. He was the leading figure of the Southern Revolutionary Movement. During the Mexican Revolution, Zapata remained loyal to his ideals of "land and liberty" for which he is regarded as "The Apostle of the Agrarian Movement of 1910"
