Rachael Girty was a Charter Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Florida. Her memory is perpetuated through property bequested to a friend and neighbor Sarah Peck, who is also buried in this cemetery.
That property later was given to the church as a gift from Sarah's grandchild, Anna Gardner Burt.
