Inscription.
King enrolled at Morehouse College where he majored in sociology. Drawn to the ministry, King Jr. was ordained by his father as a Baptist minister in February 1948. After graduating from Morehouse in June 1948, King studied divinity at Crozer Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania where he graduated in May 1951.
