to honor the memory of
Martha Dixon Martinez

Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation
1977 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School
Special Agent Martinez made the supreme sacrifice while responding to gunfire Nov. 22, 1994, in the Washington D.C. Police Headquarters. The heroic action of Special Agent Martinez prevented greater loss of life to other officials and citizens in the building. She was awarded the Medal of Valor, the highest FBI honor.
