1. The Red Clay Creek Marker
Inscription. The Red Clay creek is a freshwater tributary of the White Clay Creek. It runs through Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware for a total of 12.7 miles. This water source was the primary water source for the Lenape communities that surrounded it. The creek provided fish, drinking water, water for crops, and a natural form of recreation.
