More about this marker. This Marker was originally mounted on a base in the side yard of the former Winslow Hospital building, but was later relocated and installed near the entrance and mosaic.
Regarding Winslow Hospital. Dr. Albert Winslow (1866 - 1937) began practicing medicine in Danville in 1893. After the closure of the Winslow Hospital, the building served as the headquarters of the local Department of Public Health for several years. The former Winslow Hospital building was designated
