Inscription. Judy's Garden was started in 1984 when the Landmarks Foundation saw the need for an Herb Garden to accentuate the historical link of Herbs and Old Alabama Town.

Judy Youngblood was commissioned to create an Herb Garden which she designed, planted and cared for until her death in 2013.

The Old Alabama Town Herb Society was founded in May 1996 after Judy became a member of the Herb Society of America and expressed an interest informing a local organization.
