The Prescott Family Ranch started in the late 1920's when 3 brothers, Lemmie, Henry and Jimmie received a 40 acre homestead in Long Hammock.
Jimmie married Beatrice in the late 1930's and raised Seller, Gail, Juanette and Faye.
In the mid 1940's Jimmie and Beatrice bought full ownership of the Prescott Ranch.
To date, the ranch is still being managed by five generations of Jimmie and Beatrice's children and is known as Prescott Family Ranch LLC.
