Inscription. In the late 1930s, Magnolia Ellis became regionally famous for her healing powers, drawing thousands to her Broadway clinic. The town's reputation as an affordable health resort was a big draw when many sought to cure their own ailments. The increased reliance on medical science after WWII changed patterns of health care. Renewed interests in natural holistic approaches to health and wellness have been welcomed by the town, which remains a thriving center of diverse healing arts and practitioners. The healing waters and healing arts offer relief to all who suffer.

Did you know...? Although Magnolia denied having special powers, clients often claimed they felt electricity passing through her hands during treatments.
