1. John Peter Levi Marker
Born in Pakenham, John graduated from high school with first class honours, and began his life-long involvement in community and political organizations at an early age. A full-time farmer, he served in Pakenham as Postmaster, Township Clerk, Welfare officer, and was a founding and/or active member of several community organizations including the Pakenham Recreation Association - the first totally rural recreation association in Ontario.
His motto in life:
"Equal opportunity for all, special favours to none."
Erected 2008 by Town of Mississippi Mills and the Levi family.
