1. Site of the John Constant House Marker
Inscription. The John Constant House, circa 1720, was one of the first built in what would become the Town of Suffolk. The property called "Constantia" overlooked Constant's warehouse on the Nansemond River. There was a replica built on this site in 1926 by the Constantia Chapter NSDAR.
