Rosanna Scott Memorial Bicycle Trail
On July 28, 2012, Victoria Avenue Forever (VAF), the Riverside Bicycle Club and the City of Riverside celebrated the naming of the bicycle trail on Victoria Avenue for former Ward 4 Councilwoman (1971-78), founding board member and first president of VAF Rosanna Scott. Rosanna was a city activist for beautification and preservation.
She was largely responsible for the creation of the bicycle/ jogging/walking path along Victoria Avenue in 1976. She was also pivotal in the creation of the Citrus State Historic Park. Also, as first president of the VAF Board of Directors, she served the community for some ten more years.
