Developed by the Town of Niagara in permanent commemoration of the Centennial of Confederation in Canada in 1967. Construction was made possible through the co-operation of the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada.

2. Centennial of Confederation Marker
The marker is built into a squat concrete and brick structure, perhaps 5 feet high, with a shelf perhaps 3 feet high. The structure may be a water fountain, no longer operational. The edge of the public washroom is peaking around the right edge of the structure.
