Here from 1912 to 1935 lived Henriette Bie Lorentzen (1911-2001) - humanist, peace activist and women's activist. Co-founder and teacher at the Nansen Academy. Interned in a concentration camp during World War II. Lecturer and inspector, National Teachers College for Arts and Crafts, 1951-78.
