1. Late Woodland A.D. 450-1000 Marker

Inscription. The people of the Late Woodland represent an abandonment of the preceding Hopewell lifestyle-mound construction ends, trade networks lessen, and there is minimal artistic expression. People begin to live in true villages, adopt the bow and arrow, and begin farming with a heavy focus on corn as a primary food source.
