Inscription. The SunWatch people were part of the Fort Ancient culture. This time is often divided into Early, Middle, and Late Fort Ancient. Radiocarbon dates and diagnostic artifacts such as decorated ceramics indicate that SunWatch was occupied during the Middle Fort Ancient period sometime between AD 1150 and 1450, either continuously or intermittently.
