Officer Hunter A. Edwards served with the Winchester Police Department from July 28, 2014 until November 24, 2018. Officer Edwards was a member of the Patrol Division and served on the SWAT Team and Civil Disturbance Unit.
Officer Hunter A. Edwards was killed in the line of duty on November 24, 2018 while responding to a call to assist other Winchester Police Officers. Officer Edwards was a role model and known for his focus on protecting the community and faithfully serving the citizens of Winchester.
