Shawnee Mountain
Did you know?
When Shawnee Mountain opened in 1975, we were an "upside down" mountain, meaning guests parked up here at the summit and skied down before ever getting on a chairlift. Three years after our grand opening we started to build our footbridge over the pond, and from then on all activities took place in our current base area.
