1. Carry Nation Marker
Inscription. A prohibitionist who became staunchly anti-alcohol, after her husband remained intoxicated for a long period of time after their marriage. Eventually they divorced and she pursued her vehement alcohol prohibition desires until it became a national campaign which lead to the total ban of alcohol in the U.S. As prohibition became the law of the land, the Kentucky legislature passed a statute that allowed distillers to produce bourbon in small batches for medicinal purposes only. That statute eventually allowed distillers to create a path for the tremendous growth it enjoys today through the distribution of their products to any entity who possess a pharmacy license, especially on a corporate level.
