Inscription.
Named in honor of
Mildred "Mid" Anthony Uihlein,
who in 1941, had the vision to keep open this parcel of land on Main Street and chaired the committee to raise needed funds so that all people would forever enjoy this view of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains.
