1. Milking Parlor and Creamery Marker
Inscription. Frederick County experienced a period of agricultural industrial transition from 1805-1870. Within the farming community, the most important advancements were the structures for milking cows. The sanitary handling of milk required buildings for milking cows that were separate from other livestock. These advancements changed the physical features of the farm, thus it is possible that some of the structures on the farm associated with milking cows were built around the late 1870s.
