Richard (Dick) G. Tami, established his Periodontal practice in Virginia from 1977 to present. His involvement in the community includes: membership in the Woodbridge Rotary Club where he enlisted help from Nick Carosi of Arban & Carosi pre-cast concrete company, the Board of County Supervisors, especially Supervisor Hilda Barg, to build the "Welcome to Woodbridge" sign and had it placed along the Northern end of the Route 1 corridor. Also, Dick solicited other organizations to participate in the project by placing their logos on the sign.
Dick's next project was to bring public attention to the need for a universal baseball field in Prince William County from 2008 to 2009 that would provide a safe field for children that are physically and mentally challenged. Through Dick's efforts the field was built and now approximately 60 children use the field annually along with the Wounded Warriors.
