1. The Dennis Farm's Perkins Homestead and Cemetery Marker
The farm's original settlers Prince Perkins (1750-1839), his wife Judith and their family first settled seventy acres on this hillside. When their granddaughter Angeline Perkins Dennis (1832-1873) inherited the property from her father in 1858, her husband Henry W. Dennis (1815-1882) purchased 100 adjacent acres, including the Lower Tier of the farm where the Barn Complex and Farm House are located. From that time onward, the entire property has been called the Dennis Farm.
