1. Susan B. Anthony Visits Bigelow House Marker
Inscription. Noted women's suffrage advocate Susan B. Anthony was a guest at the Bigelow House on October 18, 1871. "Dine at Judge Bigelow's - his wife splendid, she wrote in her diary. Anthony later worked with Daniel and Ann Elizabeth White Bigelow to form Suffrage Association. Washington women finally won the vote in 1910.
