Calvert Beach-Long Beach in Calvert County, Maryland — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
North Ridge Trail
Part of this trail was once a roadway and a main access route for travel from Prince Frederick to Cove Point. In the 1930's, this road was closed when route 2/4 was built. Today, the historic roadway is a route through some of nature's finest scenery. Reclaimed by nature, this trail abounds with plants and wildlife for you to enjoy.
