Inscription. Once known as "Old Town Cemetery" A second Congregational Meeting house was built here in 1740 and a burial ground was laid out In the front section is a fenced memorial monument "Erected to the memory of Wellfleet Heros" by the Ladies Soldiers Aid Society, assisted by subscribers to the War Fund in 1866
