George T. Snyder, Jr. (1940-1995) served as Mayor of the City of Fairfax from 1983-1990.
A longtime resident of the Mosby Woods Community, Mayor Snyder transformed regional transportation by leading the adoption of comprehensive transportation plans, the expansion of the City's CUE Bus service, and the completion of traffic circulation initiatives on major City streets.
