The Springs at Hager's Fancy
Many early colonists had accessible springs in their basements to offer easy access to drinking water and to protect their source of water. Indoor cool springs offered a pleasant convenient retreat for families throughout the year.
The roughly 40-degree temperature of the springs keeps the basement comfortably cool in the summers and acts as an excellent source of refrigeration for food storage.
