Betty Blystone (1926-2020) served on both Falls Church School Board (12 years) and City Council (6 years), including terms as both School Board Chair and Mayor. She was also president of the Virginia School Boards Association in 1980 and was a 50-year member of the Falls Church League of Women Voters.
