Inscription.
This site is hereby dedicated to the memory of Carlos J. Martin Jr. in recognition of thirty one years of public service on the county board, fourteen years on the park commission, ten years as chairman.

He was instrumental in the growth of the parks movement, the preservation of the environmental, historical and archaeological qualities of the Nine Springs E-Way.
