Museum grounds are open from dawn to dusk. Admission tickets are required to enter all outdoor exhibits and structures during the museum's hours of operations.
The distance from the Visitor Center to the State House and back is just over one mile. There are benches placed along the visitor paths and historic roads for your comfort.
