1. Hermon Woodlands Marker
Inscription. Hermon Woodlands reflects the broader evolution of Allen County-from early 19th-century frontier land to a valued public resource. Originally part of farmland established after settlement in the 1820s, this land supported agriculture for more than a century. Today, Hermon Woodlands preserves that history through its open spaces, offering visitors a connection to the region's rural roots and natural environment.
