1. Former Goldfish Pond Marker
From 1934 to 1999, many visitors fondly appreciated a goldfish pond that was located here in memory of Mabel Tart, wife of David H. Tart, Sr. She died at age 44, leaving behind a husband and four children. Her grave nearby in Section 57, Lot 2 was adorned with probably more flowers than any other in the cemetery upon her burial. Her husband and two of her children are in the photo.
She had resided in a lovely Spanish Revival style home on the west side of Bayview Park in East Hill. Her husband owned a cooperage company.

(Saint John's Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida, USA, Section 57) Excerpt: Daughter of Henry B. & Addie S. (Bailey) Mann; mother of David Henry Tart, Jr., and Mildred Florence Tart. There are infants buried in this section and it is assumed they were children of David and Mabel. According to the FL Death Index a D. H.
