Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia, the Republic of Uzbekistan is famous for its numerous architectural monuments, incredible natural landscapes, magnificent palaces, ruins of fortresses of past civilizations, outstanding cultural events, gastronomic delights, and famous craft workshops.

Abu Rayhan Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Al-Biruni (973-1048 AD)
Biruni, born in western Uzbekistan, was a Renaissance genius five centuries before the European Renaissance. A deep-dyed polymath, he founded the field of mineralogy, mapped the known world more precisely than anyone before him, and mad lasting contributions to mathematics, cultural anthropology, and geodesy.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States
The United States of America was among the first countries to recognize the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The diplomatic relations were established on 19 February 1992, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in U.S. opened in February 1993.

The building has served as a private residence from the time it was built until 1927, when it was then purchased by the Canadian Government and used as a legation, chancery, and Embassy.

The Government of Uzbekistan purchased the building to serve as its Embassy in 1996.
