The Directors of the Geauga County Agricultural Society place this marker in recognition of Dan McClelland's endless contributions to the Great Geauga County Fair.
As a peace officer in Geauga County for 41 years, he provided outstanding support and dedication to the safety and well being of the residents of Geauga County and all attendees at the Great Geauga County Fair.
For his accomplishments, Sheriff Dan McClelland was inducted into the Ohio Fair Managers Association Hall of Fame in 2017.
Thank you to Dan McClelland, and Midge Certified as the world's smallest police dog for his dedication and generosity to the Great Geauga County Fair.
