The Directors of the Geauga County Agricultural Society place this marker in recognition of Vernon and Marion Howard's endless contributions to The Great Geauga County Fair.

Vernon and Marion served as directors and officers of the fair board and auxiliary for several years, as well as having been a charter member and lifetime performer in The Great Geauga County Fair Band.

For their accomplishments, Vernon and Marion were inducted into the Ohio Fair Managers Hall of Fame in 2011.

Thank you to the Howards for their dedication and generosity to The Great Geauga County Fair family.
