Professor of Earth Science 1944 - 1978
A dedicated teacher who served Baldwin-Wallace college for 34 years. Robert T. Cossaboom began his career at the college in 1944 as an instructor, he was promoted to full professor in 1957 and revitalized the Department of Geography and Earth Science. He served as the Chairman of the Earth Science Department. In 1968 he was named a fellow of the Ohio Academy of Science and often represented the college and the academy as a visiting scientist to Ohio Secondary Schools sponsored by the National Science Foundation. He will be remembered for his dedication to his students and the world of physical geography and geology.
