Marjorie Hower's commitment to women's health and physical education was evident in every athlete she counseled and student she taught during her 33 years at B-W. A pioneer and advocate for intercollegiate athletics for women as well as equal status for women on campus, she is a member of the B-W and Ohio Wesleyan University Athletic Halls of Fame. She lived what she preached and will be remembered as an inspiration to students for encouraging them to find a peaceful balance between a healthy mind and body.
