1. Plantation Garden Marker
Inscription.
This garden was originally created to replicate the layout of a typical garden from the American Colonial period, which was a common sight to see during its time.

The garden was certified in 2006 as a Bay-Wise demonstration landscape promoting a healthy Chesapeake Bay environment by the Maryland Cooperative Extension Service. You will often find a variety of both practical and decorative herbs, flowers, and other plants here. Each year, careful thought goes into the arrangement of these plants and how they can support our local pollinators.
