Auf Initiative von Louise Otto-Peters begann am 15. Oktober 1865 in der Buchhändlerbörse die erste deutsche Frauenkonferenz, die zur Gründung des Allgemeinen Deutschen Frauenvereins führte. Er markiert den Anfang der organisierten Frauenbewegung in Deutschland.
At the initiative of Louise Otto-Peters, the first German Women's Conference convened in the Booksellers' Exchange on October 15, 1865. The conference led to the founding of the General German Women's Association. It marks the beginning of the organized women's movement in Germany.
