This attractive brick house, built in the 1840s, was located in the west end of the village of Aultsville, on a large farm just three kilometers east of where it stands today. In the 1880s, this home was occupied by Michael Urias Cook, who was the first Canadian to import Holstein cattle into Canada. It was moved to Upper Canada Village in 1957, and restored and furnished to represent the comfortable home of a 19th century physician.

Cette attrayante maison en brique, construite dans les années 1840, était située à l'extrémité ouest du village d'Aultsville, sur une grande ferme à seulement trois kilomètres à l'est de son emplacement actuel. Dans les années 1880, cette maison était habitée par Michael Urias Cook, qui a été le premier Canadien à importer des bovins Holstein au Canada. La maison a été déménagée à Upper Canada Village en 1957, et restaurée et meublée pour représenter la maison confortable d'un médecin du 19° siècle.
