1. Rock Hall Marker
Inscription. Formerly known as Rock Hall Cross Roads. Main Street is part of first road cut in Kent County in 1675. George Washington passed here eight known times. Tench Tilghman used this route from Yorktown to Philadelphia in October 1781.
 
Erected 1932 by Citizens of Rock Hall.
