Inscription.
On the bluffs of Hood Park are two resting places for the bones of 24 Native Americans whose remains were accidentally unearthed in July 1990 and September 1995 during renovation and retaining wall construction in the park.

In both cases, Native American spiritual leaders conducted a solemn ceremony over the two separate graves, re-committing the bones to the earth and allowing those buried here to continue their spiritual journey.
