In October 1963, the Bluff Park Art Association began as a fundraiser for the Bluff Park Elementary School Library and was incorporated November 2, 1965. Bluff Park Community Park Show site since 1963. Originally a fundraiser for the Bluff Park Elementary School library, it became a leading fine arts event in Alabama. The all-volunteer Bluff Park Art Association hosts and exhibits its permanent "Best in Show” works, supports Birmingham Museum of Art, funds sculptures in Hoover, and provides art resources to schools.
