Inscription.
[English]  In July, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh visited Regina for two days to commemorate the centennial of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

During her address at RCMP “Depot” Division, The Queen said, “Police work has always been most difficult and demanding, especially in a free and democratic society. I have complete confidence that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will meet this challenge with the same success as in the past.”

The new Guidon of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the flag standard that represents them following British tradition, was consecrated at “Depot” Division by The Queen, Honorary Commissioner of the Force, to mark the occasion.
