1. Bushy Run Marker
Inscription. Three miles to the south, at Bushy Run, an army under Colonel Henry Bouquet defeated the Indians, August 5-6, 1763. This raised the siege of Fort Pitt and opened the gateway for settlement of the West. It is now a State Park.
 
Erected 1946 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
