1. Dr. Mudd's House Marker
Inscription. Dr. Mudd set the broken leg of Wilkes Booth who escaped from Washington after Lincoln's assassination on April 14, 1865. Dr. Mudd was tried and imprisoned on Dry Tortugas Island.
