1. Patterson's Fort Marker
Inscription. A stockade built about 1755 to protect settlers from Indian marauders. Capt. James Patterson was builder and commandant. It was located nearby to overlook the Juniata.
 
Erected 1947 by Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission.
